Some patients may receive Eylea HD every 20 weeks after one year, while others resume 4-week injections if needed. Vabysmo (faricimab) and Eylea (afibercept) are both effective anti‑VEGF eye injections, but they differ in how they work, how often they are given, and which eye diseases they are approved to treat. For many people, either medicine can be a good choice, and the decision usually depends on the specific eye condition, how the retina responds on OCT scans, and how often a person can come in for injections.
