Editorial policy

Medicine information has to be accurate, current and readable. This page explains the standards we apply before a drug page is published.

Sources

Pages are based on publicly available medicine references, regulator publications and product information. Where a page is imported from an external reference, the source is recorded and the text is rewritten before publication. The original source is never presented as our own clinical review.

Review process

Each page is checked for:

  • a clear explanation of what the medicine is and what it treats;
  • practical directions that match the product label;
  • warnings that mention the most serious risks first;
  • sections that are complete and free of scraping artefacts.

Corrections

If you spot an error, email us with the page address and the correction. We review reports and update pages when a change is justified.
