What happens if I miss a dose?
Since Nexafed is taken as needed, you might not have a regular dosing schedule. If you do have a schedule and miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it's nearly time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up for the missed dose.

What happens if I overdose?
Seek emergency medical help or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222.
Do not take this medication if you are also using diet pills, caffeine pills, or other stimulants (like ADHD medications). Taking a stimulant along with a decongestant can raise your chances of experiencing unpleasant side effects.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before using any other cough or cold medicine. Many combination medicines contain Nexafed or another decongestant. Taking certain products together can lead to taking too much of this kind of medicine.
