Guaifenesin is a medicine that helps clear mucus in your chest and throat, making it easier to cough it out.
Pseudoephedrine is a medicine that helps reduce swelling in the blood vessels in your nose. Swollen blood vessels can lead to nasal congestion (stuffy nose).
Poly-Vent DM is a combination medicine used to relieve cough, stuffy nose, sinus congestion, and chest congestion caused by allergies, the common cold, or the flu.
Poly-Vent DM will not treat a cough caused by smoking, asthma, or emphysema.
