What is Robafen?
Robafen is used to relieve chest congestion caused by the common cold, flu, or chronic bronchitis.

There are many brands and forms of guaifenesin available. Not all brands are included in this leaflet.

How should I take Robafen?
Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Cold or cough medicine is only for short-term use until your symptoms go away.
Always follow the instructions on the medicine label when giving cough or cold medicine to a child. Do not use the medicine just to make a child sleepy. Misusing cough or cold medicines in very young children can lead to death.
Measure liquid medicine carefully. Use the dosing syringe provided, or a medicine dose-measuring device (not a kitchen spoon).
To use Robafen granules, pour the entire packet onto your tongue and swallow without chewing.
Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 7 days, or if you have a fever, rash, or headaches.
Robafen can affect the results of certain medical tests. Inform any doctor who treats you that you are using Robafen.
Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Do not freeze.
